    BOOK CLUB:The purpose of the After School Book Club is to build literacy and a love for reading.

    DRAMA CLUB:This year the Drama Club will perform the musical "Once Upon a Summer". Auditions were held in October 2015. 

    GOLF CLUB:The purpose of the Golf Club is to teach students golf and life skills. 

    GREEN TEAM: The Green Team will work towards creating school gardens and helping establish BTMS as a "Green" school.

    ITALIAN CLUBThe purpose of the Italian Club is to explore Italian culture and provide after school assistance. 

    MATH CLUB: Math Club is a fun and competitive activity that any student can participate in.  It is a great way for students to develop intuitive thinking skills and learn new types of math.  Students will not only learn new material, but will apply their previous knowledge from school to fun and challenging problems.  Math Club members will learn about interesting careers in math-related fields and engage in activities that promote the appreciation and pursuit of mathematics.  Math Club is also a great way to meet new people and develop teamwork skills.

    MESA: The MESA (Math, Engineering, Science Achievement) Club promotes hands-on application of science, technology, engineering and math concepts through projects and competition-based activities.

    MULTICULTURAL-NUTRITION CLUB: To promote diversity; exhibit cultural displays such as drama, debate, skits and fashion parade; nutritional facts to combat childhood obesity; how to eat right; lifestyle changes; time management, study skills, homework help.

    NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY: Promotes recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship and character.

    SEA PERCH: Students work in teams to build underwater remotely operated vehicles.  Club will begin forming in late November/December.

    STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION: The purpose of SGA is to be the voice of the students.  SGA is made up and administered entirely by students and is the representative body of the students at Tasker.  The SGA strives to be the student voice at Tasker by serving as a sounding board and introducing legislation on behalf of the students.  While the legislation is not binding to school/county, it can have significant influence.

    TAG: The purpose of the TAG (Talented and Gifted) Club is to provide enrichment opportunities for students.

    YEARBOOK: The purpose of the Yearbook Club is to produce an annual yearbook for Benjamin Tasker Middle School.
