    • 3rd Quarter Amnesty Make-Up Work

      Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) is providing an opportunity for students to make up any missing assignments by the end of the third quarter marking period. From April 6 

      to April 9, students will be allowed to electronically submit any missing assignments from the third quarter. This includes classwork, independent assignments and assessments. If you are unable to access an assignment during Spring Break, please follow up with your child’s teacher after Spring Break ends on Tuesday, April 6 to request access.

A partir del 6 de abril y hasta el 9 de abril, se permitirá que los estudiantes entreguen electrónicamente todos los trabajos del tercer trimestre pendientes.       Les Écoles publiques du comté de Prince George (PGCPS) offrent la possibilité aux élèves, de rattraper les devoirs manquants avant la fin de la période de notation du troisième trimestre.

      Du 6 au 9 avril, les élèves seront autorisés à soumettre par voie électronique, tous les devoirs manquants du troisième trimestre. Cela comprend les devoirs de classe, les travaux indépendants et les évaluations.       the Kajeet SmartSpotWhere can I borrow the SmartSpot?

      The SmartSpot may be borrowed at thirteen locations: Accokeek, Beltsville, Bladensburg, Fairmount Heights, Glenarden, Hillcrest Heights, Hyattsville, Largo-Kettering, New Carrollton, Oxon Hill, Spauldings, Surratts Clinton and Upper Marlboro.


      The device is for educational purposes only. It is intended to help children without internet access to have use of the internet through a managed WiFi connection.

      • The device is filtered and restricted to educational use only.
      • The device is operational from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM.

      Borrowing the SmartSpot

      • Adults ages 18 and older with library cards in good standing.
      • No LINK or Student Accounts.
      • One per household.
      • Customers must present their library card and a valid (not expired) photo ID to the circulation staff. At the time of check-out, the customer shall complete and sign a loan agreement. Once a SmartSpot is checked out to the customer, it becomes the responsibility of the customer.
      • Device must be returned to the original borrowing location.
      • Device cannot be returned in the bookdrop.
      • Device will be loaned for a period of 9 weeks, no reserves or renewals.
      • An overdue fee of $1.00 per day up to full replacement cost of $140.00 will be charged for a SmartSpot that is not returned. Damaged devices or parts will be charged at the cost of the part:
        • USB charger: $5.00
        • USB Cable: $5.00
        • SmartSpot Case: $10.00
      • Device will be disabled after 5 days overdue.
      • SmartSpots are available in Accokeek, Beltsville, Bladensburg, Fairmount Heights, Glenarden, Hillcrest Heights, Hyattsville, Largo-Kettering, New Carrollton, Oxon Hill, Spauldings, Surratts Clinton and Upper Marlboro. on a first come, first served basis from open to close.
      • Customers must wait 24 hours before borrowing the same device.
