  • New Weekly Mobile Meal Distributions Beginning Thursday, Dec. 2!

    Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) in collaboration with Maryland National Park & Planning Commission will host new weekly mobile meal distributions beginning Thursday, Dec. 2. Each Thursday, parents, guardians and children can pick up free meal boxes consisting of breakfast and lunch for five days at community centers throughout the county. Adults picking up meals without children will need to show proof of the number of children in the household.

    Scheduled to operate through Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, the new weekly meal distribution aims to benefit families with non-school age children, under 18 years old, at home who have in the past benefited from weekly meal distribution. The Friday meal distribution for virtual students will end on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022 coinciding with the end of the virtual learning program.
