  • Purpose

    The visual arts curriculum at Margaret Brent incorporates a variety of modalities that reinforce academic, social/emotional and fine motor skills, while teaching concepts of art.  Students learn about line, color, form and balance.
  • Goals

    Students work individually and with their peers to create visual pieces that allow them to express their point of view.  Most importantly, the creative process requires that students make decisions, solve problems and take risks in a learning environment that nurtures inventiveness.
