The Academy of Graphic Arts, Media, and Communication will prepare students for academic, personal, & professional success through rigorous career-focused programs that develop skills for post-secondary degrees, and the competitive world of related industries.

Goals

Bladensburg High School Academy of Graphic Arts, Media, and Communication students will

• Develop art, media, and communication skills using current industry standards of technology
• Explore a variety of possible career pathways through site visits and guest speakers from related industries and colleges
• Obtain real world career experience through internships in partnership with the community to develop a quality workforce and
• Become ready for the competitive workforce in related industries and/or to pursue related college degrees
