POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Technology Operations, the incumbent of this position supports administration of Oracle Fusion Middleware platform components including Oracle WebCenter Content, Imaging and Process Management, Oracle Identity and Access Management and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition. The work involves installation/configuration, security, backup/recovery, monitoring, performance management, high availability, maintenance and 24/7 support of these major Oracle enterprise systems. Need extensive hands-on experience managing infrastructure and technologies involving Oracle WebLogic Server
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Install Oracle Fusion
Middleware (FMW) 11g components; configure the metadata repository; create and
extend WebLogic domains; start, stop, reconfigure and monitor WebLogic server
by using FMW Control; WebLogic 11g security provider setup, tuning and
troubleshooting; backup and recovery of FMW environment, clustering & high availability
implementation for FMW; migrate systems from test to production using FMW
utilities;
Multi-node
installation and configuration of Oracle WebCenter Content 11g platform
including Oracle Universal Content Management (UCM), Oracle Content Server and
Imaging and Process Management (I/PM); configure Application Extension
Framework (AXF) using Oracle EBS adapter;
configure SOA & BPEL to work with Oracle WebCenter;
Multi-node
installation and configuration of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition
(OBIEE) 11g and Oracle BI Applications (OBIA) 7.9.6.x; DAC10g/11g and
Informatica PowerCenter 8/9 installation, Oracle Data Integrator; setup and
administration for OBIA 7.9.6.X; ETL setup and troubleshooting; performance
tuning and administration of OBIEE platform;
Evaluate releases of
Oracle and its tools, and third party products to ensure that the PGCPS is
running the products that are most appropriate.
Plan to ensure that any new product implementation or release upgrade takes
place with minimal impact;
Troubleshoot problems
with the databases, applications and development tools;
Develop and maintain
customization standards to ensure that all application design and code is
produced with proper integrity, security and performance criteria. Perform
reviews on the design and code frequently to ensure the site standards are
being adhered to;
Control migration of
programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes to the
middleware platform using applicable change management processes;
Manage security,
integrity, and availability of all supported Oracle systems;
As part of the Oracle
admin team, provide 24/7 on call support for the various enterprise systems;
and
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Thorough knowledge
and expert level experience in administration, maintenance, installation and
upgrades WebLogic Server 11g;
Considerable
experience in administering one or more of Fusion Middleware components: Oracle
WebCenter (UCM, Content Server, I/PM), Oracle Identity and Access Management,
Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition;
Considerable
experience working in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL5 or later); shell
scripting and administration;
Thorough knowledge of
Oracle Identity and Access Management 11g architecture and integration with
other products such as Oracle WebCenter;
Experience
administering OBIEE 11g, OBIA 7.9.6.x, DAC 10g/11g and Informatica PowerCenter
8/9;
Experience with
Oracle RDBMS 11g & Oracle E-Business Suite Rel 12 desired;
Experience in backup
and recovery procedures at the database and file system levels;
Experience using IBM
Tivoli with Oracle RDBMS for backups and restores;
Experience with
configuring and supporting hardware load balancers in front of systems for
availability and scalability;
Ability to analyze
complex data systems/problems to achieve desired results;
Ability to share
knowledge with peers and mentor junior administrators;
Ability to
independently support the enterprise systems infrastructure and clients;
Ability to
communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal form; and
Ability to establish
and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and outside agencies.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with
a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Management, or a
related field with
six (6) years of experience.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Oracle Certified
Professional (OCP) credentials preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No direct supervisory responsibilities.
