  • Welcome Letter to the Class of 2026, 10th Grade

Dear Class of 2026 10th Graders and Parents,

Welcome back to Fairmont Heights High School for the 2023-24 school year! As the 10th-grade Administrator, I am looking forward to working with our Class of 2026 students.

Grade ten is an especially important year for the Hornets NEST because each 10th grade student will complete the State of Maryland MCAP (Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program) exams at the end of the school year, for the core subjects of Math, English, Social Studies, and Science, as a graduation requirement.

The Fairmont Heights High School administration will work closely with families, students, teachers, and Professional School Counselors to strengthen the success of our Class of 2026 students. Parent support to ensure student attendance, punctuality, and assignment completion is vital to the positive performance of our scholars.

Other Important information includes the following:

    • ●  Uniforms - Fairmont Heights High School grade 10 students are required to wear a burgundy polo

shirt and khaki pants, or skirts, to school daily.
