  • Welcome Letter to the Class of 2027, 9th Grade

    Dear Fairmont Heights Parents,

                  

    On behalf of Principal Priester and the rest of the Administrative team, faculty, and staff, welcome to Fairmont Heights High School. We are thrilled to have you as a student as well as part of the Coolidge family. We look forward to the opportunity to support you as start a new chapter in your educational journey. 


    As the students transition to high school, we encourage them to get off to a strong start in every class and take every opportunity their instructors provide to sharpen their academic and social skills. Focusing on maintaining good habits such as coming to school consistently and reporting to each class on time and being ready to participate is the start of being successful. They have already laid the foundation and this year is the year they truly start to build yourself into the college and career-ready student we all know you can be. We will be exploring more of this information during the New Student Orientation on August 25. 


    Be sure to explore the various extracurricular opportunities so that you may fully experience all that Fairmont Heights High School has to offer as you grow into a well-rounded productive citizen who is prepared to contribute and give back to your community.

               

    Parents, please review your student’s class schedule to become familiar with their daily bell schedule. Students will follow a block schedule with 4 class periods each A day and B-day. Please note that students are to be in their designated classrooms by 8:30 AM. Please remember that we are a uniform school and students are expected to arrive daily wearing the appropriate uniform. Our Class of 2027 Ninth Grade class uniform is khaki pants and white shirts. In addition In addition all students are required to adhere to the school and county dress code policies. 

                  

    In closing, we would like to take this time to invite you to 2 important events. Our first Class of ‘27 Parent meeting will be held virtually on August 30th at 6:00 PM and our Back to School Night that will take place on September 14, at 6:00 PM. On that evening, you will be greeted by the school's administration and staff and you will receive important information pertaining to the coming school year.
